Southend finally ended their run of 13 games without a win in style with a 3-0 win vs Oxford at home on Monday 24th March 2014. The game was broadcasted live on Sky Sports, and the Southend fans in Block W were in fantastic voice all game long. The support from not only TBV, but from the whole of Block W and the West stand was absolutely phenomenal all night long, and it really did help spur on the team to produce a performance of top quality to end their winless streak.

We now have 7 games remaining, 4 of which are at Roots Hall, and the team needs your support now more than ever. Performances like that come from confidence within the team, and the support of the fans plays a vital part in this. We are currently in 8th position, and only 2 points of 7th place. We can still make the play-offs this year, but the team needs your help!!!

Our next game is at Roots Hall against 24th placed Torquay United, who will no doubt be looking to bounce back and try to escape the relegation zone after losing 1-0 to York on Tuesday. It'll be a very tough encounter with both teams needing all 3 points, so make sure you get yourself down to Roots Hall and into (or near to) Block W, and get ready to cheer on the Shrimpers, and become the 12th man once again! Come on you Blues!
